Mandatory Affordable Care Act (ACA) 1095-C Solutions
Under the Affordable Care Act, applicable large employers (ALE) are required to report health care information to full-time employees on Form 1095-C. Regulations for delivery of employee forms include electronic delivery as well as printing and mailing. ALEs must also electronically file all 1095-C and 1094-C data to the IRS annually through the Affordable Care Act Information Returns (AIR) system.
JAT Software provides solutions for the delivery of employee 1095-C forms through employee self-service and by print and mail. We also offer software products to create 1094-C and 1095-C employer e-files for submission to the IRS AIR system for both original and corrected forms.
e-PRINTVIEW EMPLOYEE SELF-SERVICE FORMS
e-PRINTVIEW is a SaaS internet and mobile friendly application for the distribution of recipient 1095-C forms. It includes IRS regulations for recipient consent to electronic form delivery as an alternative to printing and mailing. Electronic form delivery provides significant savings for employers by eliminating many of the expenses associated with traditional paper forms, envelopes, printing, labor, inserting, sealing and postage.
e-PRINTVIEW deployment is flexible. Implementation options include an organization specific URL and a Branded Login page to make the user experience consistent with the client's existing portal. e-PRINTVIEW can also be deployed by using a Single Sign-On option for integration with your existing employee portal. With e-PRINTVIEW, recipients can retrieve Originals, Reissues and/or Corrected forms, eliminating your organization’s administrative involvement in performing these time-consuming and unproductive distribution tasks.
e-PRINTVIEW includes a Management Administration area where authorized Management users can review, update and submit their application preferences for a streamlined initial setup and ongoing maintenance. Management users can generate reports of consenting recipients, forms retrieved and other statistics. Reports can be exported for use in spreadsheet programs. Management users can lock/unlock forms and user accounts and change passwords. When needed, they can also distribute forms by printing and mailing or email. All emailed form attachments are in PDF format and can be password protected with data encryption methods to ensure security. e-PRINTVIEW includes organization security for setting up management users with access to either specific client defined entities or all entities.
JAT also offers print and mail services for the initial distribution of employee original 1095-C forms. Printing is performed at SOC audited and SSAE16 certified facilities ensuring your documents are processed according to the highest industry standards. Forms are previewed prior to printing through a viewing and approval website. Additional print service options include archive PDFs and drop shipments to specified locations when special handling is required.
Used in combination with e-PRINTVIEW self-service, employees who have consented to receive online forms can be removed from the print and mail process.
PRINTVIEW PLUS is a comprehensive year-end form processing solution offering complete in-house control over year-end data within a cost effective desktop application. It is designed to help organizations efficiently manage critical year-end printing, reporting and filing tasks for recipient and employer forms.
PRINTVIEW PLUS streamlines workflow by eliminating the time-consuming manual processes typically associated with high volume form distribution and filing. Recipient forms can be printed individually, in batches or emailed as password protected PDF files. Batch printing can be performed by printing forms directly to a Laser-jet compatible printer or forms can be output as PDFs for remote printing at a later time.
Employer e-files meeting IRS requirements can be generated using PRINTVIEW PLUS. Organizations can generate their files when needed and submit their information through the 1094-C AIR system. Employer files can be transmitted individually or using bulk filing for multiple employer submissions in a single AIR transmission. To help simplify the amendment process, XML error messages returned by the IRS can be imported into PRINTVIEW PLUS to update affected records with associated error codes and descriptions. PRINTVIEW PLUS will also generate amended e-files for 1094-C form correction reporting.
PRINTVIEW PLUS provides an accurate and efficient means of producing corrected year-end forms. Corrections are logged by User ID providing a secure and auditable record of transactions. Simply select the original form to be corrected, enter only the required adjustments and print or email the resulting corrected form to the recipient.
Employer amendment filing is compliant with Federal e-filing specifications.
Corrected forms can be exported and uploaded to e-PRINTVIEW for recipient self-service access and retrieval.
